![]() Once the port designs are fine tuned for the 6.5CM/6.5PRC, 7RM/28 Nosler, 300wm/300PRC, and 338 Lapua class cartridges I will start production. I do have some ideas for a even better brake but the difficulty of machining it will be through the roof. I'm not going to stop until I can't find anymore gains with this style of brake. I've tried over 30 different port designs to get to this point and if it takes 30+ more to build the best brake on the planet then so be it. My Beast brakes are already the most effective brakes on the market, I've tested all the best brakes made against them, and these are a clear step beyond anything out there. I haven't yet tested the new port design with tuning but if it gains the same 2.5" then it would be 12" of travel or 1/3 less travel then my normal Beast brake and over 80% less then the full travel of the sled. With some tuning my Beast brake got to 15.5". Unmodified my Beast brake ran 18" on my test sled using a 300wm. ![]() The performance gains are pretty big with this brake. I did go back to right hand cap threads on these and will eventually change the stainless version to right hand cap threads as well.Ĭurrently I'm working on replenishing stock of a few items but once that is done I'll be back trying to finalize my newest brake design. 935" OD and dimensionally are the same as the Beast CF II brakes but only weigh 55% of the stainless version. I now have 3, 4 and 5 port Ti Beast CF II brakes in stock with caps that taper to. I don't expect major improvements over the current design that I've tested but I'm trying to make sure there is nothing left to improve.Īfter that is finished I'm working on some other gun parts that I will announce more about after I get closer to full production. After that I will finalize the design, testing, and production of my new brake. I'm trying to build up inventory to support orders for most of the year on my Beast series brakes. I'm not doing any other customs/additions/modifications/etc to my current brake lines currently. I've had several people ask about custom brakes lately. They can be tapered like all of my brakes. These are all a max port design so they can't be turned down. ![]() ![]() I made some 5 port Baby Beast brakes in 1/2x28, 9/16x24 and 5/8x24 when I did the 4 ports for stock. I'll try to get as current as possible on orders before I leave. ![]()
